Corrugated cladding Systems

Aluminium modular panelling with secret fixings

Gooding Aluminium’s Simplicity Corrugated Panelling System is a sleek, modular aluminium cladding solution designed for vertical internal or external walls. The system offers secret fixings, a smooth appearance, and is ideal for architects, interior designers, and contractors seeking a modern, clean-lined finish. With symmetrical corrugations, invisible joins and robust surface finishes, the Simplicity system is suited to a wide range of commercial, leisure and retail environments.

This corrugated cladding system combines form and function in a profile that is both aesthetically striking and practically engineered. Whether applied vertically or horizontally, the aluminium modular panelling assembles with minimal fuss, resulting in a strong, lightweight and professional-grade installation.

Key Features of the Simplicity Corrugated Cladding System

  • Secret fixings for a seamless architectural finish
  • Symmetrical corrugated aluminium profiles with a 175mm cover width
  • Invisible tolerance gap for clean joins even on uneven surfaces
  • Pre-drilled fixing flanges on the reverse side of each panel
  • Modular extruded aluminium system with matching end, corner and junction trims
  • Stocked in natural anodised aluminium or RAL powder-coated finishes
  • Standard panel lengths of 2.5m and 3.0m (trims in 3.0m)
  • Independently tested for wind load and thermal performance.

The smooth alignment and curvaceous surface of each panel brings architectural rhythm to interiors and exteriors alike. Thanks to the single twin-set trim, the system can be used to achieve elegant corners, neat ends or interior junctions without the need for bespoke components.

A Simpler Way to Specify Corrugated Aluminium Panelling

With the Simplicity Corrugated Panel System, specifiers benefit from a ready-to-fit wall cladding solution that delivers both durability and design flexibility. The system is ideal for use in:

  • Commercial interiors and hospitality venues
  • Retail and leisure environments
  • Public sector buildings and cultural spaces
  • High-traffic reception areas and feature walls.

The extruded profiles are easy to cut to size and assemble on-site. Each panel is slotted into the next, with a hidden tolerance gap that allows for a flush appearance even on walls that are slightly uneven. Installers appreciate the simplicity and speed of fitting, while designers benefit from the clean-lined result.

Surface Finishes and Material Properties

Simplicity’s corrugated aluminium panels are available from stock in a natural anodised finish, providing a smooth, light-diffusing surface that is both resilient and low-maintenance. For more colour flexibility, GA also offers a wide range of RAL powder-coated finishes made to order in just a few days.

Both surface types are suitable for high-traffic interior spaces and can withstand frequent cleaning. They also maintain their appearance over time, making them ideal for long-term public installations.

Please note: Variations in tone may be visible on curved surfaces or where finishes are applied. This is a natural characteristic of aluminium and does not affect performance.

All panels are made from high-grade extruded aluminium alloy, tested to European Assessment Document EAD 090062-00-0404 (2018) for wind and thermal performance. They conform to UK and EU standards for mechanical and structural integrity.

Installation Advice

  • Panels are supplied with pre-drilled holes in the hidden flange, enabling easy screw fixing to prepared battens or substructure.
  • Panels should be slotted together gently to avoid damaging the profile. Use low-tack protective covering if installing near other trades or equipment.
  • End, corner and junction trims are designed to simplify finishing and reduce reliance on sealants or filler pieces.
  • As always, check all components before installation and refer to GA’s technical guidance for best practice.
