A closer look at GA’s corrugated perforated aluminium sheets
GA’s corrugated perforated sheets are produced using architectural-grade aluminium and are available in both anodised aluminium and mill finish variants. Whether you require stock sizes or custom options, GA has a wide selection on hand, including:
- Natural anodised sheets for a silky smooth, scratch-resistant surface
- Mill finish sheets for an untreated, raw aluminium look
- Powder coated panels available in a wide range of RAL colours
- Bespoke lengths and curved forms on request.
All sheets are made from 1.0mm thick aluminium and typically measure 2.45m in length. Profile heights range from 5mm to 10mm, giving design flexibility across a wide spectrum of interior applications.
Perforated variants are supplied with a standard 6.3mm diameter round hole pattern (2.0mm available on select profiles), arranged in a staggered 60° pitch. These help with air circulation and sound management – making them especially useful in retail, office and leisure environments where acoustics and ventilation matter.
Edges of the sheets overlap neatly, ensuring visual continuity and simplified installation.

Why choose corrugated aluminium?
As a material, aluminium cladding offers several key advantages:
- Lightweight: Easy to handle, transport and install
- Durable: Resistant to corrosion, especially when anodised
- Low maintenance: Retains its appearance over time
- Flexible: Can be formed, curved or cut to size
- Recyclable: An eco-conscious choice for sustainable projects.
The corrugated aluminium profile adds further strength and rigidity, even with the sheet’s slim 1.0mm thickness. The result is a product that delivers aesthetic impact with practical benefits – perfect for modern interior architecture.

Custom fabrication and technical quality
Gooding Aluminium’s in-house fabrication team is experienced in tailoring sheets to meet bespoke requirements. Whether you need panels pre-cut, pre-drilled or formed to a specific radius, GA’s team can help bring your concept to life – accurately and efficiently.
All aluminium sheets are produced to high standards, using grades 5005 or 1050A (depending on finish), and comply with BS EN 485, 515 and 573 for mechanical and chemical properties. The anodising process follows BS EN ISO 7599, while powder-coated finishes meet BS 6496.
Please note: Aluminium sheets with a mill finish are supplied untreated and may show surface variations. Anodised sheets are single-side finished – check and install with the best face visible. Flatness tolerances do not apply to profiled sheets, and end-to-end butt joins are not recommended due to dimensional tolerances from the forming process.
Applications of corrugated aluminium sheets
Corrugated aluminium is widely used across a range of design settings:
- Exhibition stands and event spaces
- Retail fit-outs and product displays
- Hospitality interiors and feature walls
- Office partitions and ceiling installations
- Film and TV set design.
Their visually striking wave pattern makes them suitable for creating movement, texture and contrast in interior schemes – particularly where architectural rhythm and modular design play a central role.
For designers looking to add dynamic yet minimalist elements, corrugated perforated aluminium panels can soften artificial lighting, control sound, and improve spatial flow.

Installation tips
We recommend working with professional contractors for installation. Where possible, pre-cut and pre-drilled sheetsshould be used to minimise on-site modifications. Always inspect both sides of each sheet to ensure the best surface is oriented correctly.
Take care when handling sheets – thin material edges can be vulnerable to damage. Where unprotected surfaces are exposed, use low tack self-adhesive covering during installation to avoid marking.
