Description

A 4.7mm staggered-pitch aluminium perforated sheet at 21% open area. The 4.7mm aperture is clearly visible as an individual hole at normal working distances — noticeably larger than the fine 3mm range. At 21% open area, the broad aluminium bridges between holes give this sheet considerable rigidity and a predominantly solid appearance with a clearly visible dot pattern running across the face.

This specification is well suited to applications requiring a low-porosity panel with clearly defined circular perforations: radiator covers and heating vent guards where airflow needs to be controlled, infill panels in furniture or joinery where the hole reads as a design element without dominating the surface, and acoustic panels where a lower open area is specified to shift absorption toward lower frequencies.
