Description

A 40mm staggered-pitch aluminium perforated sheet at 26% open area. The 40mm hole is the largest aperture in the Gooding Aluminium round-hole range, and at 26% open area the holes are widely spaced relative to their diameter, with broad bridges between them. Despite the very large individual apertures, the lower open area gives the sheet a surprisingly solid appearance — bold 40mm circles clearly visible, but set within a predominantly solid aluminium face.

This specification is the appropriate choice when the 40mm aperture is required for clearance, aesthetics, or coarse screening purposes, but a higher degree of surface solidity is needed than the 40% open-area version provides. Coarse agricultural and industrial screening, large-format ventilation covers, and architectural cladding where an overscale, clearly-perforated aluminium pattern is part of the design intent are typical applications.
