Most profiles and extrusions are stocked in two surface finishes: mill finish (untreated aluminium) and natural anodised (a harder-wearing, cleaner-looking anodic surface). Our anodised profiles carry an AA25 micron anodic film — the highest standard grade for aluminium extrusion anodising. Independent testing has shown that natural anodised surfaces withstand up to four times as many abrasion passes as mill finish. Most of our profiles and extrusions are manufactured from grade 6063 aluminium alloy, manufactured to BS EN755, 515, 573 Grade 6063 is chosen for its suitable alloy content and extrusion quality. Aluminium sheet products are manufactured in accordance with BS EN485/1/2/4, 515, 573.
Yes. Stock lengths for profiles and extrusions are 4 metres. If you need a specific cut length, our in-house processing team can cut, drill, roll, and curve profiles to your requirements. Contact sales@goodingalum.com with your requirements.
There is no minimum quantity requirement for online orders of standard stock profiles and sheet products — you can order as little as a single length or sheet. Full details are shown on the product pages.
