A 15mm staggered-pitch aluminium perforated sheet at 40% open area. At 15mm, the perforations are large enough to be immediately felt and seen as substantial openings. The 40% open area with staggered pitch produces a notably open, airy surface — very different in both character and porosity from the square-pitch 20% version at the same hole diameter. The offset layout softens the pattern and achieves a higher open area with relatively narrow bridges between the large holes.

Bold exterior and interior screening, open-format architectural cladding, exterior balustrade infill, and industrial ventilation covers where the large aperture aids particle rejection are all appropriate applications. At 15mm and 40% open area, this represents one of the more open mid-to-large hole specifications in the Gooding Aluminium range, suitable wherever an airy, permeable aluminium surface is needed alongside the visual boldness of a large-format perforation.
