Description

A 31.7mm staggered-pitch aluminium perforated sheet at 44% open area. With a 31.7mm aperture, this is one of the two largest-hole products in the staggered round-hole range. At 44% open area, approaching half the sheet surface is open, giving the aluminium a structure in which the circular holes are clearly the dominant element, with the remaining material forming a connecting framework between them.

Large-scale architectural screening, building facades, external balustrade panels, industrial guarding and machine guards, agricultural screens, and situations requiring very high airflow or maximum visibility through a structured aluminium surface are the primary applications. The staggered pitch distributes the large holes more evenly than a square layout, reducing stress concentrations and minimising the appearance of directional row-lines across the face of the panel.
