Compared to the 40% version at the same hole diameter, the holes are spaced more tightly together, resulting in narrower bridges between apertures and a significantly lighter, more open visual character.

This high-open-area specification is the appropriate choice where maximum airflow or acoustic transparency is required at the 4.7mm aperture scale: industrial ventilation screens, acoustic treatment panels, and machine guards where heat dissipation is critical. The higher open area reduces the sheet‘s inherent rigidity relative to the 40% version, which should be factored into framing and fixing specifications.
