Description

A 22.2mm staggered-pitch aluminium perforated sheet at 44% open area. At 22.2mm, the apertures are among the largest in the round-hole range outside the 31.7mm and 40mm sizes, and at 44% open area with staggered pitch, the aluminium bridges between them are correspondingly narrow. The surface reads as substantially more open than closed, with a dominant, visually bold perforation pattern that works at architectural scale.

Industrial and commercial ventilation facades, fire escape guarding, exterior louvrework, large architectural feature screens, and applications where the perforation is used to reduce structural wind load on cladding panels are all appropriate uses. The 22.2mm aperture is also large enough to allow hand or finger grip through the sheet, which may be relevant in barrier or access panel applications.
